Patient Group

We have now completed our survey analysis and are pleased to publish our Patient Participation Report for 2013 / 2014 which can be viewed below:

Virtual Patient Feedback

Woodlands VPRG is currently made up of 64 members. (This report is based on the 64 members only.  Since starting this report the numbers joining the VPRG has increased). The group represents a small section of our patients.

As a practice we hope to engage the group in helping to deliver and design services around the needs of its patients.

Our group is a virtual patient group.  Contact is made and surveys are done via email.  No emails are shared.  All responses to surveys are anonymous.  The group represents the patients of our surgery and represents the patient’s views and wishes for the surgery.

If you are interested in joining our group please complete the application form and return it to the surgery.  Thank you

Be a Health Champion
  • Are you a member of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) within your GP surgery?
  • Do you want to make a positive difference to people's health and happiness?
  • Are you able to engage and communicate with a wide range of people - and listen too?
Bexley Voluntary Services Council (BVSC) has been running a project in GP surgeries, to signpost patients to services offered by local voluntary organisations. Many people visiting their doctor need social support as much as healthcare, so this service seeks to improve the well-being of Bexley residents. We are looking to recruit more volunteers for this role. Our experience tells us that PPG members participating in this scheme can make a significant impact on their patients' well-being. It can also support you as a PPG member to engage better with patients in your practice.

You'll need to be able to offer half a day a week and attend training and support sessions. Volunteers also help us develop and improve this service. BVSC offers training, and will cover travel expenses.

For more information and an application form contact Jennie Branch on 01322 524682 or email bexleyvc@bvsc.co.uk.
